EXIN Partners and candidates in Japan will have the opportunity to learn how certified ISO/IEC 20000 professionals can improve IT services based on the new quality standard. Key Japanese business leaders will present their experiences at EXIN’s ISO/IEC 20000 seminar in Tokyo. The seminar that will be held on December 18, 2008, marks the official launch of the ISO/IEC Qualification Program for that region.
Key speakersSeveral organizations in Japan have already implemented ISO/IEC 20000 principles in their business. Leaders in these organization as well as other end users will be on hand to share their experience using ISO/IEC 20000. Takatori from JIPDEC, who implemented the ISO/IEC 20000 scheme in Japan, and Dr. Angelika Plate who is the key strategist, have been invited to discuss the different best practice models from an international perspective. Wataru Aoki, leader of ISO/IEC 20000 implementation at NTT Comware will be talking about his experience concerning ISO/IEC 20000 implementation with KAIZEN. Chief Technical Officer of Azgent, Akihiko Komase, who is also a member of a work group for JIS, ITSMS will discuss the various professional skills reinforced by the qualification program. About the qualification programIn line with changing customer demands and new developments in IT Service Management, EXIN’s portfolio aims at a quality approach towards IT Service Management, focused on ISO/IEC 20000, the international, independent, standard for quality in IT Service Management. EXIN and TüV SüD Akademie are jointly developing this qualification program for IT professionals who are involved in the quality improvement of IT Services at all levels.
As the standard ISO/IEC 20000 establishes the quality requirements an organization should meet in IT Service Management, the qualification program for IT professionals shows the vision behind the standard and gives insight in ‘how to’ accomplish the required quality level of IT Services. The new program teaches students to use the framework neutral standard ISO/IEC 20000 as a compass for navigating across all the different IT Service Management standards, best practices and frameworks, making the best use of them all.
